Prime Minister and Smer-SD chairman Robert Fico is both the most and the least trusted politician in Slovakia, according to the latest survey carried out by the polling agency MVK in late May. According to the results of the survey, Fico has earned the trust of 31 percent of the respondents. Next came President Andrej Kiska (26.3 percent), Interior Minister Robert Kaliňák (16.6 percent), Most-Hid chair Béla Bugár (15.3 percent). Fico also topped the list of politicians viewed by the respondents as causing the most serious problems and harming the country's political culture. The premier was also voted the least trusted politician by 35.9 percent of the respondents. The survey was carried out between May 26 - 31 on a sample of 1,036 people.
