The Slovak capital will be full of music, entertainment and good atmosphere in the next few months thanks to the 40th year of Slovakia's oldest city festival the Cultural Summer. More than 300 cultural events will take place in Bratislava between June and September, including the Slovak Folk festival, the traditional Summer Shakespeare Festival, the Bratislava Organ Festival and the International Guitar Festival. The summer cultural season will be ceremonially opened on June 26 on the city's Main Square by the Viva Musica! festival, featuring notable opera singers, instrumental soloists and actors.
