The priority of the Slovak EU presidency should be the digital agenda. The Parliamentary chairman Peter Pellegrini said this after meeting EU Commissioner Günther Oettinger. According to Peter Pellegrini it is important to adjust to the progress in digital technologies on the local level as well as in European legislation. "The Slovak presidency should be smart and digital," said Pellegrini. EU Commissioner Oetinger appreciated the digital ambitions of Slovakia saying that it might become European Silicon Valley.
