According to one of the most recognised portals in the world, the online reservation company Hotel Info, tourists in Europe are the most satisfied in Slovak hotels. In an assessment of the quality of hotels of individual cities, the Slovak capital Bratislava ranks second closely after Polish capital Warsaw. The Wall Street Journal placed Bratislava among the "TOP 5 world's cleanest hotels" last year. In 2015, the booking portal Hotel Info undertook research: guests were supposed to express their satisfaction on a 0 - 10 points scale. The criteria included the room quality, the friendly approach of the staff, tidiness, noise, the value of accommodation when compared with its price, fitness and spa facilities, breakfasts and gastronomy. The international portal's survey received information from more than 6 million respondants.
