The LGBTI march known as Rainbow PRIDE has been cancelled for 2015, announced the organising team and the Queer Leaders Forum, Inakosť (lit. otherness) and Nomantinels on Thursday. One of the reasons stated for cancelling the march is that Slovak society is still being poisoned by the pointless campaign for the referendum on the family, which took place in February. PRIDE as a march isn't ending, however, and the organisers are now concentrating on Rainbow PRIDE Bratislava 2016, which they hope will surpass all previous events. Rainbow PRIDE Bratislava has been held five times so far.
