Bosnia and Herzegovina have a lot of work ahead of them in terms of reforms. "However, we're convinced that we'll be ready to submit an official EU association application by the end of the year," Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency Chairman Mladen Ivanic said after meeting Slovak President Andrej Kiska on Wednesday. Ivanic stressed that Sarajevo would like to acquire candidate status as soon as possible. Slovak President Andrej Kiska voiced his full support to Bosnia's potential future EU membership, as he believes that every country dedicated to European values and meeting the necessary technical criteria should have a chance at becoming a member of the EU. "We will lend our full support to Bosnia and Herzegovina in this process," said President Kiska, adding that Slovakia stands ready to help with sharing its own transformation experience.
