Slovakia’s tax revenue exceeded €5 billion during the first seven months of this year representing 56.72 percent of the annual budgeted revenue. More than half of this sum has been represented by value added tax (VAT). According to the approved state budget law for this year, overall tax revenue should be €8.91 billion.
