Energy company Eustream welcomes the signing of a memorandum supporting the collective efforts of four countries of central and eastern Europe - Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary and Slovakia - to diversify resources and natural gas routes, announced Eustream spokesman Vahran Chuguryan in response to the agreement inked by the heads of diplomacy of the four countries on Thursday (May 21) in Riga, Latvia. The memorandum's aim is to show political support for the interconnection of existing gas supply infrastructure. According to Chuguryan, route diversification hasn't gained only the support of individual states but is also a priority of the European Commission, which has set out to establish an Energy Union.
