These days, on the mountain ridge of Spišská Magura in Eastern Slovakia, at the ski resort SUN Bachledova a new pump track course; the first of its kind in the High Tatras region is being built. Its design and construction is in the hands of Filip Polc, who belongs to the world's best downhill mountain bikers. A pump track is a progressive bike course that can take many shapes or sizes, that uses an up and down 'pumping' motion to propel the bicycle forward instead of pedaling. The track should open to the public on May 30, together with the opening of the summer season.
