The unemployment rate in Slovakia fell to 11.68 percent in April 2015, which was a decrease of 0.38 percentage points month-on-month, reports the Labour, Social Affairs and the Family Centre (UPSVaR). This translated into real numbers means that there are some 315,000 jobseekers immediately able to take up jobs. The Government aims to squeeze the jobless rate further down to the Eurozone average, which currently stands at 11.3 percent, said PM Fico. He's positive that they will achieve this over the course of this year.
