Duda family visits Slovakia

Slovakia will welcome a delegation from the U.S. - based land company A. Duda & Sons, Inc. beginning on May 18, 2015. The family-owned company DUDA whose founder Andrew Duda was from Velčice, headquartered in Oviedo, Florida, has diverse operations in agriculture and real estate in several U.S. states. "We are grateful that members of the family have journeyed to their ancestral homeland to talk about their Slovak heritage and its influence on the family's success," said Dušan Tóth, principal with the Toronto Slovak Theatre and host of the delegation. The delegation will be welcomed by Slovak President Andrej Kiska and Speaker of the Parliament Peter Pellegrini, moreover the representatives are also to meet students at different universities and high schools in Slovakia.
