European Commission recommends Slovakia more effectiveness in health care

Slovakia should be more effective in health-care, reads one of the four recommendations of the European Commission to Slovakia within its regular so called European semester of recommendations to member states that are not compulsory. The Commission claims that Slovakia is still lacking in a number of fields. Apart from becoming more effective in using finance in health care, Slovakia should also better itself in tax collection, battling unemployment and supporting education, and in improving the investment environment and public procurement. The European Commission added that it is slimming down on its recommendations as it wants to concentrate on fewer measures but monitor them in much more depth.
