German investor to create 600 jobs in Prievidza

German manufacturer of door systems for cars Brose Fahrzeugteile will set up shop in the industrial park in Prievidza (Trenčin region), creating 600 jobs. According to Axel Mallener, executive representative of Brose's plant in Bratislava, the construction work is to begin this year and will be completed by the summer of 2016. The company, which has 3,000 workers in the Czech Republic, is to begin staff training in Bratislava in the latter half of this year. Brose was interested in investing in Serbia, Romania and Ukraine, and is currently negotiating with the state about stimuli. Trenčin regional authority is ready to help the investor with public transport to the industrial park and with supplying a qualified workforce from technical secondary schools in the region.
