The Prime Minister Robert Fico has welcomed the stance of the Enel director general Francesco Starace not to avoid the responsibility to finish the construction of the Mochovce power plant. As he said, this is the outcome of their Wednesday meeting in Bratislava. According to the Slovak Prime Minister, the interest of Enel is to sell 66% of its shares while the state strategy is different. First of all, it is finishing the Mochovce power plants construction. Slovakia has expressed its concerns regarding the procrastination of putting it into operation. The two parts did not discuss the state's demand of €492 million. According to Robert Fico, Slovenské Elektrárne gained this amount, including interest, from operating Gabcikovo for nine years.
