Slovakia is ready to help Ukraine with reforms, while it supports its European orientation on its way to a political and economic association with the EU. Slovak Vice-premier for Investments Lubomir Vazny said at a conference in support of Ukraine in Kiev on Tuesday.
According to Vazny, Slovakia will offer Ukraine its experience from its own integration processes. "Nevertheless, Ukraine has its future in its own hands. Slovakia may and will help it, but specific steps have to be taken by Ukrainian authorities," said Vazny. He added that Slovakia supports Ukraine's independence and territorial integrity, and welcomes its interest in resolving the conflict in Donbas in a peaceful manner - in line with the Minsk agreements.
