Parliament Chairman Peter Pellegrini visited the Slovak national hockey team at Ondrej Nepela Stadium in Bratislava on Tuesday. Pellegrini wished the players good luck and expressed hope that they would bring some precious metal from the tournament in the Czech Republic. He also said he greatly appreciates that the players chose to play in the national squad over going on vacation, after having difficult seasons. The Slovak team leaves soon for the World Championship in Prague and Ostrava. The ice hockey world championship starts Friday, May 1, in the Czech Republic.
