MPs were replaced in Parliament on Monday, 27 April, by secondary school students from the best debating clubs in Slovakia. While in the House the students will compete for the prize of best orator in a contest organised by the Slovak Debating League. The young speakers will debate the proposal 'Sending armed ground forces to Iraq and Syria to fight Islamic State is in our best interests'. Their performances will be evaluated by a seven-member panel of judges made up of the best current and former Slovak orators. The event finals were opened by Parliamentary Chair Peter Pellegrini.
