Unemployment rate down to 12.06 percent in March

The unemployment rate reached 12.06 percent in March, which was a year-on-year drop of 1.22 percentage points, according to the Labour Office. When all jobseekers were taken into account, including those who were not available to start work immediately, the unemployment rate was 13.70 percent. Annual decreases in the unemployment rate were witnessed in all of Slovakia's eight regions, but the most significant one was achieved in the Banská Bystrica region.
