Heart surgeon Viliam Fischer agreed with the prosecution for a two-year suspended sentence and a €15,000 fine for corruption. Last year he took €3,000, chocolate and two ducks from the family of a patient in order to give her priority for surgery. He is also banned from exercising in the medical profession for three years.
