The special offers of bank mortgages in June beat all previous offers, as clients have borrowed a record €425 million in mortgages. The most successful month so far according to the company Fincentrum was May of this year, when the limit of €400 million per month was first exceeded. This follows news that the average price of residential property in Slovakia in the second quarter of 2013 reached only €1,230 per square meter. Compared with the previous quarter it accounts for a decline of €10 per square meter (0.2 percent), according to an analysis from the National Bank of Slovakia (NBS).
