President Andrej Kiska met representatives of the Let's Stop Corruption foundation on Wednesday to discuss the organisation's activities, the process of reporting corruption and potential forms of aid. Kiska said he is ready to aid the foundation. Let's Stop Corruption founder and chair Miroslav Trnka claimed that he discussed with the President legislation that deals with garage-based firms. "We attempt to be involved in various methods of fighting corruption, but in terms of the fight itself, the legislation is of profound importance," stated Trnka. His foundation aims to provide protection to whistleblowers, to support legislative changes designed to curb corruption and to organise educational activities aimed at raising awareness about the harmful effects of corruption.
