Budget deficit down by 12% Y-o-Y in March

The state budget recorded a deficit of €951 million as at the end of March, and was thus down more than 12 percent on an annual basis, the Finance Ministry announced on Wednesday. State budget revenues were more than €219 million higher year-on-year and expenditures, too, rose on the year - by some €854 million. The above means an annual drop in the state budget deficit of more than €134 million, stated the ministry.
