Compared with other states in the Visegrad Group (the V4 which includes Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland), Slovakia reported the lowest number of universities/colleges placed in international charts of higher education, the Educational Policy Institute points out in its report. The authority simultaneously adds that the lower number is also caused by the fact that Slovakia has fewer higher education institutions than the other V4 countries.
