A bankruptcy court in Bratislava is launching proceedings against ten members of the 'Piťovci' mob after the Supreme Court ordered seizures of their property in November 2014, reports the SME daily on Tuesday. The gang's ringleader Juraj Ondrejčák isn't escaping the confiscation of his property, either. Back in November the Supreme Court found the members of the group guilty of various charges and sentenced them to a range of jail terms, with the kingpin himself sentenced to 16 years in prison. It isn't certain at this point whether the men's property will indeed be seized by the state, however. This is the first time that the state has come to grips with confiscations of such magnitude. Ondrejčák, whose gang was busted with its members nabbed in 2011, owns several properties and luxury cars including vintage automobiles. Ondrejčák's villa in the Bratislava borough of Lamač saw special forces officers abseil from a helicopter in November 2011. The police then broke into the house and arrested Ondrejčák amidst a coordinated police operation on multiple sites that resulted in the detention of 20 people. The Piťovci mob became known for their use of the military-like Mercedes G class vehicles, and for wearing particular brands of clothing popular with extremist groups.
