At the end of February the debt of medical facilities to the Social Insurance Agency (SP) in unpaid mandatory contributions reached €124.6 million; a 3.5% increase in comparison to the same period of last year. The Children's Faculty Hospital in Bratislava, Trnava University Hospital, the National Transfusion Service, the University Hospital Bratislava and the A. Winter Hospital in Piešťany, famous for an alleged over-priced acquisition of a CT scanner are among the debtors.
