S&P Rating Agency: Credit Rating for Slovakia Stands at A

Rating agency Standard & Poor’s (S&P) affirmed Slovakia’s sovereign credit rating at A, which means that the agency still considers the country a reliable debtor. S&P kept the stable outlook although it noticed that the debt of the country has been growing. The agency still expects Slovakia will meet its plan and reduce the general government deficit to below 3% of GDP, according to senior analyst with Sberbank Vladimir Vano.
