Almost 75 percent of Slovaks use the internet at least once a week and as much as 60 percent use it on a daily basis, Poštová Banka analyst Eva Sadovská. “We appear to use the internet even more frequently than an average EU citizen, as 70 percent of people in the EU use the internet at least once a week and 59 percent of EU citizens use it daily,” added Sadovská. According to her, most Slovaks (70 percent) use it for sending out and receiving e-mail, while 58 percent click on their internet browsers for finding information about various goods and services.
