President Andrej Kiska has changed his attitude regarding Kosovo, writes the Slovak economy daily Hospodárske noviny. During his pre-election campaign last year, he claimed that Slovakia should recognise Kosovo. Today however, he has stepped back from his position and now supports Fico's government, reads the daily. Andrej Kiska does this despite the recent European Parliament call on 5 countries, including Slovakia, to recognise the sovereignty of Kosovo.
