European Parliament calls on Slovakia to recognise Kosovo

The European Parliament approved a report on the improvements that Montenegro, Kosovo, Macedonia and Serbia have made in the year 2014. On this occasion MEPs repeatedly called on the 5 EU member states that have not yet recognised the sovereignty of Kosovo to do so. Slovakia is among those 5 countries. As the approved EP document states, the new Kosovo government should make it their priority to build a legal state, secure the independence of courts and adopt measures that will help fight corruption.
