Slovakia is about to become involved in the fight against the Islamic State. The country complied with the request of American President Barrack Obama's Administration for assistance in Iraq, where the radicals control large parts of territory, spreading terror and their own version of Islam. "We considerably appreciate Slovakia's promise to provide the necessary supplies of ammunition as well as humanitarian aid and the willingness to prevent, together with us, the financing of the Islamic State", spokesperson for the U.S. Embassy in Slovakia Stephanie Fitzmauer said for the daily Pravda.
