The Cabinet has suspended discussions on the proposal of the Education Ministry to grant financial rewards to sports personalities for their results in 2014. The proposal suggests rewards for several Slovak sports stars, but it does not feature such some of the soundest names of Slovak sports as Dominika Cibulková or Peter Sagan, claims the Sme daily in its article. According to the prepared document some 320 athletes and two teams should split some €200,000 among themselves.
