Ombudswoman sheds light on her priorities for 2015

Ombudswoman Jana Dubovcová met representatives of NGOs to discuss issues she considers her priorities for the year 2015. The issues under debate involved Dubovcová's plans to look into the course of action of the foreign police in handling requests and the availability of pre-schools with a particular focus on the way children are allocated and placed in individual facilities. Moreover Dubovcová is also planning to focus on the accessibility of public buildings for the disabled, delays in court proceedings, and restitution proceedings in agricultural land and woodland. "The meeting was intended to create possibilities of links between the public and the third sectors with an eye on potential cooperation in surveys," said the ombudswoman's spokesperson.
