Head Teachers should prolong contracts expiring in June

Education Minister Juraj Draxler calls on head teachers who have contracts signed until the end of June to prolong them for two further months. "If a teacher has a contract signed until June 30, this is an immoral way of hiring", he said. Teachers who conclude a fixed term contract after March 1 will receive a salary for 12 months and not ten as is often the case now. Schools already receive money for teachers for the two months of summer holiday as well.
