According to Maroš Šefčovič, the EU Commissioner responsible for Energy Union, the start of the world's biggest gas project has been Okayed. He stated this after the meeting of the Southern Gas Corridor advisory committee for gas transport in Baku. The meeting hosted ministers from all countries through which the pipeline system should lead. Maroš Šefčovič said that the decision of preparing a "travelling map" had been achieved. At the same time, the ministers decided to create an expert group to communicate and solve problems on a regular basis. The EU's energy diversification priority project will require 45 billion US dollars and will deliver gas from Azeibardjan directly to Europe.
