The Slovak national who was apprehended with a firearm near the European Parliament building in Brussels on Monday for suspicion of preparing a terrorist attack will remain in custody for at least a month, a Belgian judge decided on Friday. The man came to the building of the European Parliament in Brussels on Monday dressed in military camouflage gear, demanding to be allowed to meet European Parliament President Martin Schulz. He was arrested by police and didn't display aggressive behaviour or put up any resistance. According to Slovak Interior Minister Robert Kaliňák, the 32-year-old man (identified only as R.W.) doesn't appear to be a deliberate and organised terrorist.
