'School at a Touch' project praised both by teachers and students

Komenská Street primary school in Sabinov (Prešov region), which is engaged in a 'School at a Touch' project that introduces an innovative style of education with tablets and touch-screen technologies, is continuing with this type of education in the current academic year. Project co-author Milan Kisztner explained that a total of 11 subjects are currently being taught with the assistance of the modern technologies and a total of 320 students have used the touch-screen technologies so far. "Our experiences from education with technologies have shown that the students are more active in learning and, thanks to more clarity, also more concentrated", said geography teacher Zuzana Hanudelová. The students agree that work with touch-screen technologies is more fun and motivating and that they view it as less demanding. Along with the school in Sabinov another nine schools are engaged in the project.
