More than €52 million was added to the accounts of Slovak non-profit organisations and foundations in 2014 thanks to people opting to divert 2 percent of their income tax to them, Financial Directorate spokesperson Patricia Macíková told TASR on Wednesday. A total of 11,805 third sector entities were competing for the contribution in 2014. The largest sum, more than €3.376 million, went to the Pontis Foundation, followed by financial group J&T's foundation, which received more than €1.602 million, and gas utility SPP's fund, which got €1.1 million. Taxpayers sent almost €828,000 to Slovenská sporiteľňa bank's foundation, while help the disabled association ADELI got over €757,000. Non-profit organisation 'Plamienok' gained around €633,000, and Good Angel got over €499,000. The lowest amount money went to HP RACING TEAM (€3.25). On average, organisations received around €4,400.
