Bratislava will for the fourth time host the international Cathedral Organ Festival this year, with musicians coming from within Slovakia and abroad. Among the pieces to be performed will be those by Franz Liszt, Julius Reubke, and Cesar Franck with live improvisation also taking place.
Organists and followers from many countries will be coming to Bratislava for the event, including Austria, France, Hungary, Poland, Italy and the U.S.A., with the event taking place from the August 1 to September 13. Individual concerts will take place in Bratislava’s Saint Martin's Cathedral on Thursdays at 7 p.m. with the final concert taking place on Friday, September 13. The series of concerts is being organised by Tribus Musicae civil association and the Bratislava Archdiocese, partnering with the Bratislava regional government.
