Slovakia views China as an important partner in resolving global problems, while closer bilateral relations aren't only a necessity but also mutually beneficial, stated Slovak Foreign and European Affairs Minister Miroslav Lajčák at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in Beijing on Tuesday. "It's impossible to deal with current political, security, energy, climate and development issues without China's constructive contribution," emphasised Lajčák. Foreign and European Affairs Minister Miroslav Lajčák is on an official visit to China. Lajčák speaking at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences evaluated the changes that have taken place in Central and Eastern Europe as well as in China in the past 20 years, "the progress achieved by China is considerable. Its reform efforts deserve respect and praise." stressed Lajčák.
