Slovakia will not continue with the Bratislava bypass project if the PPP scheme turns out to be disadvantageous after the public competition is finished. Transport Minister Ján Počiatek officially admitted this possibility for the first time on Tuesday. The Cabinet of Robert Fico gave the nod for the construction of the bypass around the Slovak capital and adjacent sections of R7 expressway just a few days ago. The ministry will have the respective study updated and the project will be reassessed after the opened tender is completed, Hospodarske Noviny daily writes.
