Czech companies in Slovakia sell more, have higher profits and repay their debts faster. Our neighbours are more successful in doing business than domestic companies, says analysis by the company Czech Credit Bureau which processed the statements of Slovak and Czech firms for the years 2012 and 2013. There are about 12,000 companies in Slovakia, whereby Czechs hold a stake in half of them. Sales of Czech businesses in Slovakia averaged €3.7 million compared to approximately €1.7 million reported by Slovak enterprises, writes the Hospodárske Noviny Daily.
