At the end of June, 71,700 job seekers in Slovakia have been without jobs for more than four years. This is approximately 17 percent of the total number of unemployed individuals registered at labour offices.
More than half of these long-term unemployed are from the Prešov and Košice counties in Eastern Slovakia.
