Animals at Bratislava Zoo help out with fashion design

The beasts of Bratislava's Zoo have helped out in the creation of a new fashion series. Leopards, jaguars, tigresses, Siberian tigers, and Javanese lions were given fabric in autumn which they were allowed to play with. After a few days they took it back, cleaned it and then designer Lucia Spišákova who then made the denim into 8 separate unique jeans for men and women and in various sizes. As a way of raising money for the upkeep of these animals, she thought of this idea, with costs for these animals per individual costing thousands of euro per year; jaguar €1,100, tigers around €1,300, lions at €1,600. Each piece comes with a special label depicting which animal they have helped.
