Four bidders are interested in a 66-percent stake in Slovenské Elektrárne (SE) that is for sale, Slovak Economy Minister Pavol Pavlis confirmed at a meeting with journalists. As he stated further, the Italian company Enel, which is selling its majority stake in Slovakia's dominant electricity producer, is currently assessing the bids. "The company Enel has accepted four offers. They will be evaluated in late April. This process is in the hands of the company Enel", said Pavlis. It is not yet clear yet whether the state will be interested in buying the SE stake that is to be sold. Minister Pavlis is satisfied for the time being with the pace of work on the completion of the third and fourth units at the Nuclear Power Plant Mochovce (EMO). "The measures really have been effective. There is progress in the building work and implementation of the whole process really picked up speed", Pavlis said on Tuesday during an inspection day at Mochovce.
