The average holiday in Slovakia lasts for a week and costs around €300, said Postova Banka analyst Eva Sadovska . According to her, approximately 70 percent of Slovaks are planning to go on holiday this year, with a quarter of them keen on setting off for a destination within Slovakia.
The most frequently visited destinations in Slovakia are in the Poprad and Liptovsky Mikulas districts (Presov and Zilina region, respectively), which feature the High and Low Tatra Mountains.
