Defence Minister Martin Glváč (SMER-SD) is launching what is so far the biggest purchase during his term of office. The ministry intends to buy new 3D radars for 60 million euro to monitor the skies as part of air defence. Although several variants of their purchase were at stake, including directly granted contract, the minister decided to call an international competition.
