Two professional soldiers who robbed a bank in Leopoldov on July 1 have been taken into pre-trial custody on Thursday. “Bratislava’s District Court has taken the accused into custody. They are being charged with armed robbery,” said Bratislava Court spokesman Pavol Adamciak.
The two armed men entered the bank and stole several thousand euro in various currencies. Police caught the perpetrators only a few days after the robbery. If found guilty, the men may spend up to 12 years in jail.
