As many as 76 students from all over the world took a Summer Course on the Slovak language at Comenius University in Bratislava this year. Most of them came from Serbia, Hungary or Ukraine, but there were also students from the USA, Brazil, and Canada.
“Our main target was to introduce the basics of the Slovak language and the culture for those interested in our country. The students had 6 lessons to attend every day and in the afternoon they could join drama classes or sing with a chorus or join other activities that helped them get to know the Slovak environment a little bit better,” said Katarína Nevrlová from Comenius University.
