A regional prosecutor in Bratislava has scrapped the charges against former director of state-run company MH Development Ladislav Košecky, who was dismissed in November for using public funds to hire a car from his own company and to pay for his personal fines. "The charges pressed by the National Anti-corruption Unit investigator were dismissed as they were deemed to have been released prematurely and without having clarified all circumstances of the matter", said Regional Prosecutor's Office's spokesman Oliver Janiček. The issue has now been returned to the investigator.
