Christmas will cost Slovaks on average 394 euro

This year, Slovaks will spend on purchases related to Christmas on average 394 euro. Compared to 2011, this is a decrease of 6%. These data emerged from a survey on pre-Christmas Slovak consumer behaviour, annually conducted by TNS Slovakia. According to the survey, Slovaks are planning to buy Christmas presents for about 217 euro this year. For the purchase of Christmas food and beverages Slovaks will spend this year about 177 euros. The average food purchases by Slovak households are 129 euros, so it seems Slovaks will have their tables fuller these holidays.
